Latona M. Corn Weems passed away on December 30, 2020.
Latona was born in Akron, Oh to Geraldine Corn and Richard Scott.
She attended West Jr. High School and graduated from Butchel High School.
Latona loved dancing, all kinds of music and was always the life of every party. She believed in being outspoken about her opinions. Latona loved cooking for every holiday and most enjoyed life, her children, family and friends.
Preceeded in death by her parents, Geraldine Corn and Richard Scott; daughter, Vernell Corn; uncle, Michael Corn; nephew, Sekou Corn; husband, Larry Weems.
Leaves to cherish her memory her children, Dezzal Corn, Diamond Smoot, Sgt. Dexter Ratcliff, Dezmond Robinson and Destiny Corn; step-daughter, Ebony Weems; siblings, Beatrice Corn, Kevin Corn, Rhonda Corn, Sherise Corn; 11 grandchildren; 2 special friends, William Hightower and Francis Freeman host of nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends.
