Kevin S. Carter Sr. departed this life suddenly on September 14, 2021. He was born December 14, 1964, in Akron, Oh, where he attended Akron Public Schools.
He was a lifelong resident of the community. Kevin was loved and adored by many and will be missed. His spirit will live with us forever.
He is preceded in death by his Grandmother, Ruth Curry; Father, Kenneth George Turner; Cousins, Rufus, and Tracy Carter; Nephew, Tyraye Carter.
He leaves to cherish his memories and life, Loving Mother, Barbara Carter; Children, Kevin Jr, Jonah, Indigo, Deja (Jon) Fry, Damarco, and Devante; Siblings, Theresa (Ryan), Germaine, Mykeesha and Ferrah; 9 Grandchildren; a host of nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins and special friend, Tamara Fry.
Friends may call on Wednesday, September 29, 2021 from 11:00 am until 12:00 noon at Sommerville Funeral Services, 1695 Diagonal Rd. Akron, Oh 44320. the Funeral service will immediately follow. Flowers and donations may be sent to Barbara Carter at 730 Callis Drive, Apt 1215, Akron, Oh 44311.
