Henry Calvin Scott Jr.

Henry Calvin Scott Jr. , age 65 of Canton. Ohio departed this life to be with our Lord on January 13, 2022. Henry, known to his family as “Junior” and his friends and coworkers as “Hank”, was born in Canton, Ohio on July 4 th 1956 to Henry Sr. and Ruby Scott.
Henry is preceded in death by his parents, Henry and Ruby Scott. He leaves to cherish his memories, his beloved son Glenn Terell Tate. One brother Jeffery (Venita) Scott. Two sisters, Melinda (Frank) Dixon, Nealie (Andre) Peoples, 3 grandchildren (Kiara, Amari, and Glendale Tate). One great grandchild (Isiah Elliot). 3 nieces and one nephew (Jourdan, Tabitha, Sierra and Miles), Two Special cousins and caregivers Annie (Asie) Singleton, Eathel (Richard) Brown and a host of other family, and friends.
Henry graduated from Canton Mckinley Senior High School and attended Ohio University in Athens, Ohio where he pledged Kappa Alpha Psi. After college Henry returned home where he was employed with the Danner Press Corporation for several years. He would later finish his professional career at UTC Aerospace Systems in Uniontown, Ohio.
Henry was a storyteller who loved to joke and laugh; his laughter was infectious. Henry loved his family and was a loyal and dedicated friend to many.
Henry loved the Lord and was dedicated to His word. He loved to sing the gospel and teach bible study. Henry was a bold witness for the Lord wherever he went; and continued witnessing from his hospital bed until he took his last breath.
