Leslie Scott Hill

Leslie Scott Hill, 63, born December 3, 1958. Passed away unexpectedly on Sunday, February 20, 2022. Leslie was in a rehabilitating state, basically doing well. Born in Alliance, Ohio to June Hill-Lilly. Attended all schools in Alliance, graduating in the bicentennial class of 1976. Leslie immediately joined the Job Core and became a merchant marine. That was the beginning of his passion for culinary art. Cooked all over the United States, including some international travel displaying his skills. Leslie was a Celebrity Chef for Judge Mathis.

Leslie had a “heart as big as Texas!” Always in a joyous state showing Love to all. He would often say “I’m the Les that gives you more!” Leslie was a loving father, brother, uncle, nephew, cousin, and friend. His family will forever keep him in our hearts and remember him always.

He is preceded in death by mother, June Hill-Lilly; wife, Brenda of many years.

He leaves to cherish his memory, daughter, Leslie Gail Ford of Philadelphia, Pa; brothers, Sidney (Bobbie) Hill of Pataska, Oh, Emory (Tumneib) Hill of London, Ohio, Kevin (Gwen) Hill of Akron, Oh, Gary (Rachel) Hill of Akron, Oh, Vincent Wade of Canton, Oh and Sheldon Wade of Canton, Oh; sisters, Mary Lynne (Robert) Reid of Cuyahoga Falls, Oh, Susan Taylor of Akron, Oh, Lisa Locke of Akron, Oh; lifelong friend, Dewain Love and many nephews, nieces, great nephews, great nieces, great great nephews and loving cousins.
