Patricia D. Stephenson

Patricia Dene Stephenson gained her heavenly wings on January 25, 2023, surrounded by her loving children. She was born January 24, 1951 in Ravenna, Ohio to Sallie Ann and James Smith.
She attended Akron Public Schools and graduated from Buchtel High School. After graduation she moved New York City and started a family. She returned to Akron and began a career as an assembly worker.

She enjoyed life and loved her family above all else. She was a no-nonsense mother and a tell it like it is woman. Everyone who knew her knew she loved having a good time during the good times she could be found partying at Rob Roys or the Player’s Club. She lived her life to the fullest and gave joy and laughter to everyone around her. She loved driving Cadillacs. Everyone remembers her banana pudding. In her later days she accepted Christ as her Lord and Savior.

She is preceded in death by; parent, Sallie Ann and James Smith; sister Peggy Smith.

She is survived by her children, Charles, Lenard (Rachelle), Patricia (Georgette) and Antonio Stephenson and Tiauna (Nicholas) Brinley; 8 grandchildren, Jason Moore, Tyreek Stephenson, Riauna Holman, Lenard Stephenson III, Tremayne Holman, Leniya Stephenson, Titus Brinley, and Braylon Papciak; brothers, James Henry, Larry and Richard Smith.
