Demetrius L. Henderson Jr. (Dee Dee) was born on November 7th, 2001 in Akron, Ohio. Our Friend and Brother departed this life on August 25th, 2019, at the age of 17 years old. Demetrius was a lifetime resident of Akron, Ohio. He was a very special young man. He loved basketball, music, playing the Playstation 4, and hanging out with his best friend Chaise. He was a senior at East High School.

He was preceded in death by his father Demetrius L Henderson Sr., grandparents Marcella Fitzgerald and Booker Fitzgerald, Cynthia Henderson, Anthony Young, Great Grandparents Moses Karim Sr., Sim Henderson Sr., Willie Henderson, Uncle Aaron Smith. Sim Henderson, Jr. Aunt Stacia Fitzgerald.

Dee Dee leaves to cherish his memory his mother Nichole Smith, his other mother, Lisa Henderson; brothers Marcelous Smith, Darshawn Dowdy, Honor Abrams, sister Rihanna Henderson; grandparents Garnett Smith, and David Lehman.; stepfather Jermaine Lehman; great aunts Jackie Henderson-Pitts, Leslie Fitzgerald, Kelly Shelton, Paullett Spragling, great uncles Gary Fitzgerald, Booker Fitzgerald, Terry Fitzgerald; uncles Derrick Smith, Keith Smith, Gerald Smith, Kendall Ingol; aunts Kyra Smith, Britt Smith, Shawntae Ingol, Dani Smith, Jasmine Douglas, Gabriella Evans; niece and nephew Ja’Mayah Turner, Tymeir Smith-Collins, and his very special auntie Nikki Fitzgerald.
