Nina Cantrell-Brown

Nina Evette Cantrell was born on March 31, 1969. She attended Akron Public Schools and later became a LPN. She was a nurse for 20 years.

She loved bingo and traveling. Nina was preceded in death by her Father Melvin Cantrell; brother, Donnie Cantrell; grandfathers, Eugene Hendon and Ambrose Jordan; grandmother, Betty, Keith; aunt, Valerie Jordan; uncles, Gary, Terry, Jimmy Hendon, and Robert (Bobby) Keith Jr.

She leaves to cherish her memory her mother, Jean Cantrell-Surles; bonus father, Beasley Surles; grandmother, Evelyn Hendon; children, Allen (Juanita) Watson, Keisha Taylor (Jordan) and Zion Brown; brothers, Melvin Cantrell (Araya) and Lamarr (Tiany) Chambers; special cousin, Tina Evans; grandchildren, Noah, Na’Arah, and Nathan Watson, Gabrielle Morris, and Noelle Stokes; aunts, Vivian Hendon, Betty Hendon Bell, La Vonne Johnson, Valerie Robertson, and Amber (Debbie) Palmore; uncles, Kenny and Nathan Hendon, Ricky and Zachary Jordan; special friend, Rick Goode; 11 nieces and nephews; and a host of other loving family members.
