Henry Lee Reid

Henry Lee Reid, 70, of Akron, Ohio, transitioned to glory on March 19,2025 at Altercare Nursing Home in Cuyahoga Falls, Ohio, after a short illness.
Henry was born October 30, 1954, to George W. Reid and Essie B. Reid in Tuskegee, Alabama.
Henry attended East High School and was a very skilled basketball player and track star. He will be missed beyond measure.
Henry was preceded in death by father George Washington Reid, his mother Essie (Benton) Reid, brothers, Jimmie L. Reid, Rivers L. Reid, his identical twin Hency L. Reid, and sister Julie Catherine Collins.
He is survived by sisters Gloria McDaniels, Betty Reid, Bennie Wright, Mary Reid and a host of other family and friends.
A memorial service will be held at a later date.
