Alonzo Grant

Alonzo Dean Grant (Bo) was born on April 6, 1966 and went home to be with God in heaven, on July 26, 2022.

He was a lifetime resident of Akron, Ohio and attended Akron Public Schools. Alonzo was a good-hearted person; he was loved by many. He enjoyed listening to his music and spending to time with family and friends. He most enjoyed listening to ZAPP Band music. Alonzo loved to dance and play cards. He liked to watch football and was an avid fan of the Pittsburg Steelers. Alonzo, “Bo Daddy”, as he liked to be called, will be truly missed, but never forgotten.

Alonzo Dean Grant was preceded in death by his father, Ulysses Grant Sr.; mother, Flora Cannon Grant and sister, Angela Shadie and brother, Larry Grant.

Alonzo Dean Grant is survived by; daughter, Rachelle Grant; grandchildren, Aundrea Lewis, Harmony Lewis and Jaylen Lewis; sisters, Geraldine Grant, Kim (Vincent) Waldron; twin brother, Alphonzo (Fonnie) Dennis Grant; brother, Terry (Kyla) Grant; special friend, Alice Lamb Arnold and a host of uncles, aunts, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
