Bobbie Long

May 22, 1968 – July 9, 2025

Bobbie Long, a beautiful soul with a vibrant spirit, passed away peacefully on July 9, 2025, at Akron City Hospital.

Born on May 22, 1968, in Akron, Ohio, to Lana and Kenneth Long, Bobbie was raised on the West Side of Akron and graduated from John R. Buchtel High School.

Bobbie will be remembered as a woman with a heart full of love and generosity. Her warmth, kindness, and fierce loyalty were the cornerstones of who she was. Whether it was caring for her children, sharing a meal she lovingly prepared, or simply enjoying music and laughter on the front porch, Bobbie brought joy and comfort to those around her. She had a no-nonsense spirit—kindhearted but spicy, and that strength made her unforgettable. To know her is to love her unconditionally as she would you.

Her children were the pride of her life, and she embraced her role as a mother, daughter, partner, and friend with grace and devotion.

She is preceded in death by her father, Kenneth Long.

She leaves to cherish her memory loving mother, Lana Long; sisters, Regina and Michelle (James) Jackson; children, Brittney, Amber and Brandon Long, all of Akron; stepsons, Dino Jr. and Louis Spaulding, whom she loved dearly; lifelong partner, Dino Spaulding Sr.; godchildren, Khamiyia Connelly and Kenneth Fields; sister-friends, Guylene, Marie, and Brenda; 12 grandchildren; and a host of extended family and friends who will forever hold her in their hearts.
