Clinton E. Rogers

Clinton Eugene Rogers, 80, passed away peacefully on December 22, 2024.

Born on February 4, 1944, in Akron, Oh, he was a dedicated family man and community member. A South High School graduate and Vietnam War veteran, Clinton served as a Sergeant in the U.S. Army. He had a distinguished career at Goodyear Aerospace. A lifetime Elks Club member, he held various offices and contributed significantly to his community. Clinton enjoyed bowling, darts, pool, and racquetball.

Preceded in death by his parents and siblings Eddie Rogers and Marilyn Rivers.

He is survived by his wife Roberta; children Clinton Jr., Eugene, Veronica, and Kimberly; sister Linda; brothers Lamar (Estelle) and Timmy (Gwen); brother-in-law Gregory Gibson; and numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

Friends may call on Saturday, December 28, 2024, from 11:00 am until 12:00 noon at Sommerville Funeral Services, 1695 Diagonal Rd. Akron, Oh 44320. Service will immediately follow.  Interment Glendale Cemetery.
