Darlene A. Craig

Darlene Anita (Childers) Craig was born July 5, 1946, to Lucille Childers and Joseph Stanley. She passed away peacefully on Saturday, November 25, 2023.

Born and raised in Akron, Ohio, she graduated from East High School. After graduation she worked for the State of Ohio Bureau of Workers Compensation for 28 years. She also worked 10 years for the Community Action Agency as a foster grandparent. She was a faithful member of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints.

She is preceded in death by her parents; husband, Robert Craig; and sisters, Roberta Brown, Beverly Stanley and Yvonne Stanley.

She leaves to cherish her memory, her only daughter, Lynette Craig; sons, Shawn Craig, and Kevin Stanley of Columbus, OH; brother, Steven (Shirley) Stanley; grandsons, Shawn Craig Jr. of Orlando, FL and Justis Craig of Akron; great-grandsons, Zaire Craig (Orlando, FL) and TyeShawn Hobson (Columbus, OH) ; special friends, Yolanda Bronner, Ann Thomas and Bonnie Perkins and a host of other relatives and friends who loved her.
