Gregory Lee McEwen

Gregory Lee McEwen was born on August 26, 1951, to the late Steven and Phobe McEwen. He accepted Christ at an early age and was a member of St. Paul Baptist Church for many years. On October 7, 1978, he married Virgie Diane (Long) McEwen.

He retired from The University of Akron as a landscaper on May 1, 2009.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Steven and Phobe McEwen; brother, Winston Wright; son, Gregory McEwen and sister, Thelma McClorn.
Gregory leaves to cherish his memory wife of 41 years, Virgie Diane McEwen; son, Kenji McEwen; grandchildren, Tanayjia McEwen and Gevonte Antonio Lamar Baugh-McEwen; sister-in-law, Lillian Wright and a host of nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friends.
