LaShonne Drummond
Lashone Renee Drummond passed away surrounded by her loving family, on February 24, 2024. She was born December 7, 1970, to the late Betty Ann Drummond of Akron, Ohio.
She was a devoted member of Zion Temple Baptist Church. She faithfully served on the church’s Mission Board, under the leadership of Pastor, Dr. Mark A. Ward. She was such a kind and giving person, and she was loved by all who knew her.
She is preceded in death by her mother, Betty Ann Drummond; grandparents, Floyd Drummond Sr. and Ruby Mae Drummond; granddaughter, LaQue Betty Mae Watson Tapley.
She leaves to cherish her memory; special beloved friends, Gilbert Barnett, twin sister and best friend, Lashonda Marie Drummond; sons, Danta, Deonta and Davonta Drummond; daughter, Lashon Tapley; sister, Cissa Drummond of Clarksville, Tennessee; grandchildren, Danaysia Kerney, Deondra Drummond and Quentin Watson; special Aunt, Linda jo (Jim) Hosey; special friend, Tonya Davenport and a host of nieces, nephews, family and friends.
Calling hours will be held on Friday, March 1, 2024 from 11:00 am until 12:00 noon at Sommerville Funeral Services, 1695 Diagonal Rd. Akron, Oh 44320. Funeral service will immediately follow. Interment Mount Peace Cemetery.
