Lillie Mae Williams 

Mrs. Lillie Mae Williams, 83 years old, passed away peacefully on November 4, 2022.

She lived and served her community for more than 60 years and was a long-standing member of People’s Baptist Church.

Lillie was born in Newbern, AL and moved to Akron, OH at a very young age. She attended South High School. On July 31, 1961, she married Ezekiel Williams. From this union they were blessed with two daughters, Michelle Butler and Tara Hall. Lillie loved cooking and spent many years doing so at Polsky’s, Summit Lake Kandy Kane Day Care, as well as for family and friends. After retiring she continued to serve others by being active in her Community Block Club, volunteering at Open-M, and serving in her church.

Lillie is survived by: husband, of 61 years Ezekiel Williams; daughters, Michelle Butler of Surprise, AZ and Tara Hall of Akron, OH; brother, James Wilson of Plano, TX; grandchildren, Shardé Butler of Tempe, AZ, Ashley Butler of Atlanta, GA, Tiara Hall of Akron, OH, and Christopher Hall II of Akron, OH; greatgrandchild, Tiana Hall of Akron, OH. She was also blessed with many bonus siblings, family, and close friends.
