Lundy Robinson Jr Obituary | Flower Test Order Lundy Robinson Jr - Flower Test Order

Lundy Robinson Jr

September 20, 1936 – August 19, 2022

Lundy “Kimberly” Robinson, Jr., of Akron, Ohio, a loving husband, father, and grandfather, went home to be with the Lord on August 19, 2022.
He was born September 20, 1936 in Nashville, Tennessee to the late Lundy Sr. and Ernestine Robinson.  He graduated from South High School, served in the United States Marine Corps and retired from Chrysler after 37 years of service. He loved taking the kids to football games and watching them play.  He also loved sports, listening to jazz, playing the lottery, and various card games on the computer.  He had a loving kind heart and beautiful personality.  He never met a stranger. He loved to barbecue and made sure he passed on that legacy to his son, Lil’ Man. He loved playing Pokeno with family and friends. Lundy was such a hardworking man who always put the needs of his family and friends first. His smile will forever be engraved in all of our hearts.
Lundy was preceded in death by his parents, Lundy Sr. and Ernestine Robinson; son, Lundy Dion Clepper-Robinson; daughter, Lawanna Davis; brothers, Thomas, James, and Tyrone Robinson; sister, Jennie Smith.
He is survived by his loving and devoted wife of 51 years, Brenda; sons, John Clepper-Robinson and Andre Robinson, both of Akron, Ohio; sisters, Freddie Mae Brooks of Nashville, Tennessee, Carol Williams and Barbara Terrell, both of Akron, Ohio; four grandchildren, six great grandchildren; and a host of nieces and nephews.
Special thank you to Dr. Eugene Pogorelec and nurses at hospice for all their support and care. Also, a special thanks to his friends; Hightower, Teddy, Willie, and Eddie.

Graveside service will be held on Thursday, August 25, 2022, at 12:00 Noon at Mount Peace Cemetery.
