Mark A. Amos

Mark A. Amos, age 61, was called home with our Heavenly Father on April 28, 2023. Mark was born on January 31, 1962, and was a longtime resident of Akron, Ohio.

Mark attended Central-Hower High School and graduated Mansfield Business College, certifying him as a Word Processor. Mark loved fixing things and was a master of many trades. He also enjoyed word search puzzles, listening to music, cooking, and most of all spending time with his family and friends. Mark was a loving father and a great friend.

Mark is preceded in death by his parents, Robert Lytle and Carrie Amos and his sister Mary Amos.

Mark leaves to cherish his memory children, Markeeta (Antoine), Mark Jr., and Sylvia, step-children Quiana, Joy(William), Dewahn(Patricia), his sisters, Daphne Amos, Cheryl Lytle, Crystal Amos; brothers, Curtis Amos, Robin Lytle, Robert Amos, and Terry Amos; (6)grandchildren; (1) great grandchild; aunts, Alice Amos and Mary Lytle, as well as a host of nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends.

Services will be held Saturday, May 13, 2023 at Sommerville Funeral Services. Friends may call at 2:00 pm with services immediately following at 3:00 pm.
