Surrounded by family, Percy J. Humphries Sr. departed this life on January 29, 2020.

Percy was born into his family on March 14, 1935 in Crummies, Kentucky.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Lillie McFarland and Lewis Humphries; wife of 57 years Marie Humphreys; grandson, Jo’rel Brantley; granddaughter, Shauntiva Humphries; brothers, Donald Humphreys and Charles Hull.

Percy was an avid fisherman and hunter who enjoyed family gatherings and vacationing with family. He retired from the Timken Company after 35 years of service. He was a member of Hirama Abiff #72.

He leaves his children, Lillie (Tyrone) Atkins, Percy Humphries Jr., Winifred Coleman, Tracie (Frederick) Campbell, Michael (Lori) Humphries, Michelle (Daniel) Terrell, Craig (Erica) Humphries; 30 grandchildren; 42 great-grandchildren; 6 great-great-grandchildren and a host of nephews, nieces, cousins, and friends.
