Robert Wayne Ragland Sr.

Robert Wayne Ragland Sr. passed away December 23, 2021. Born in Columbus, Ohio on September 6th, 1965 to Sidney K. Ragland Sr. and Betty Ragland Shelton. A graduate of West High School, he received an associates degree from Franklin University. He was employed by DFAS for over 30 years.

He is preceded in death by his parents, brothers Daniel Ragland and Arthur Ragland.

He is survived by his wife Sheila K Vance Ragland of 34 years, his son Robert W. Ragland Jr.(Emily), and brother Sidney K Ragland Jr. He is also survived by sisters in law Genevieve Ragland, Sharon(Mark) Koogler, Pam Vance and Teresa Giuliano. He was blessed with many nieces and nephews extended family. An advocate family and community, Robert served as Vice President of SWCSD Board of Education and a trustee for the Ohio School Boards Association.

Graveside services will be held at Eastlawn Cemetery (1340 Woodland Ave, Columbus, Oh) on Thursday December 30, at Noon. Please wear a mask.
