Samuel A. Pryer

Samuel Allen Pryer, age 78, was called home to be with the angels on March 1, 2022.
Sam attended North High School and The University of Akron.
Mr. Pryer gained employment through Chrysler Corporation and retired with 35 years of service. Upon retirement Sam joined the staff at Sommerville Funeral Services. Mr. Pryer later joined AL-KAF Temple #109, Master Mason, American Legion John Fulton Post 272 and Mt. Calvery Lodge #76.  He also fulfilled his dream of owning a Corvette and joined the 7-11 Corvette Club.
Sam was preceded in death by his parents, Samuel Pryer Sr. and Ernestine Pryer.
He leaves to cherish his memories wife, Darlene Pryer; daughter, Tammy Brown and son, Samuel Pryer II; sister, Norma Gray of Cleveland Ohio; brothers, William “Yo-Gi” (Francine) and Ronnie Pryer all of Akron, Ohio and a host of grandchildren, great-grandchildren and a host of nieces and nephews.
