Shawn R. Teague
Shawn R. Teague, 52, of Alliance passed away on May 24, 2021, following a brief illness. She was born February 7, 1969, to Braxston and Madelyn Burruss.
She was employed as a driver for SARTA, attended TriumphChurch, and enjoyed trying different restaurants and playing the slots. She married the love of her life on December 12, 1992.
Preceding her in death was her father, Braxston Burruss, grandparents, Tillson Stewart, Nathaniel, and Bennie Burruss, and brother-in-law Donald Cundiff.
Shawn was the beloved wife of Shawn W. Teague and mother of Zuriahana, who both survived her, along with her brothers, Shannon and Bryan Burruss, Darcell Mattox, sister, Michelle Mattox, mother-in-law, Nellie Mattox, special aunt and uncles, Marva, Rudy, Rocell and Randy, their dogs, Caesar and Ruby and a host of other relatives and friends.
