Valerie Robinson

Valerie (Bush) Robinson was born on May 18, 1952, in Akron, Ohio, the oldest of 5 daughters, to the union of Walter L. and Mabel Bush.  She attended Akron Public Schools and graduated from South High School in 1971.  She primarily worked in the food service industry, last working at Rob’s Place at the University of Akron.  Valerie gave her life to Christ at an early age and was a faithful member of the New Hope Baptist Church.

She was known for her hospitality, and love of cooking for family and friends.  Valerie was very friendly and enjoyed planning special events and decorating for the holidays.

She was preceded in death by her parents Mabel and Walter Bush, and sister Anita (Bush) Terrell.

She leaves her family to mourn her passing; daughter, Lalla Robinson, grandsons Da’Mier Farmer, Da’Viere Griffin and granddaughter, Jayla Mace her sisters Marilynn Elliott, Pamela Bush and Kimberly (Larry) McCormick, many nieces and nephews, extended family members and friends.

We love you, Valerie.  We know you put your trust in God and with Him you have found Sweet Rest.
