Willie B. Cunning

Willie Bob Cunning passed away unexpectedly September 26, 2019.

Willie Bob Cunning was born on October 17, 1955 to the late Martha (Sykes) Price and Issac Cunning.

He was born in Columbus, MS and moved to Akron, Oh in 1962 with his family. He later moved to Columbus, Oh and became acquainted with friends at the Just for Today Club. He was not a stranger to anyone he met.

He enjoyed keeping his cars clean, apartment was immaculate, and his clothes were always matching and on point. His favorite sayings were, “Whateva” and “Uhhh, No!” He enjoyed giving his family, friends, and residents at Nazareth Tower a hard time. It was just his personality.
He was preceded in death and welcomed with open arms by mother, Martha (Sykes) Price; brother, Clifton White Jr., nephews, Troy D. “T-Mac” McIntyre Sr. and Paul S. “P-Mac” McIntyre.

He leaves to cherish his memory, loving sister, Martha J. (Sykes) Hamilton; brother, Robert L. (Deb) Jackson; Aunt, Willie Mae Sykes; nephews, Robert “Lamont” Wilson, Derik Lewis and Errick Jones all of Akron, Oh; nieces, Charlene Hamilton of Charlotte, NC, Dasha Smitherman of Akron, Oh, Sherrise Jackson of Pensacola, FL, Chinesta Thomas of Akron, Oh and Tamara Rivers of Akron, Oh; bonus extended family, Lawana Motley, Tina “Mommy” Mills, Erica Motley, Tiffany, Semaj, Eric, and Markese; 21 bonus grandchildren all of Columbus, Oh; Rhonda Terry and family of Columbus, Oh; longtime friends, Phillip “Mouth” Elliott of Akron, Oh and a host of other relatives and friends.
