LaTeris was born September 3, 1996, in Akron, Oh. He attended Kenmore High School and received his GED years later.
LaTeris enjoyed spending time with his kids and family. He was a true basketball and football fan.
He is preceded in death by his grandfathers, LaTeris McDowell and Gary A. Myers and aunt, Fawntella Cook Parmer.
LaTeris is survived by grandparents, Charlotte McDowell and Pamela Myers; mother, Terri (Kalandra) McDowell; father and stepmother, Dallas (Heather) Cook II; sons, LaTeris Austyn Cook Jr., Braylen, Kye Tinsley and Malik LeDon Hilliard; daughter, Royal Cook and a daughter due this fall; brothers, Dallas Leon Cook III and Houston Cook; sisters, Shailah Cook and Jaliaya Cook; cousin like a sister, Camille Charqualaf; best friend/brother, Lemuel Freeman Jr.; aunts, Natasha (Nyla) Bell, Marquerite (Aaron) Burkett, Chanel (Denille) McCray and Jackie McDowell and a host of cousins and friends.
Friends may call on Friday, June 14, 2024, from 11:00 am until 12:00 noon at Sommerville Funeral Services, 1695 Diagonal Rd. Akron, Oh 44320. Funeral services will immediately follow and will be live streamed at sommervillefuneralservice.com Interment Rose Hill Burial Park
